TiVo iPad app now available

A couple of months ago, we reported that TiVo had announced that they will be bringing an official app to Apple’s iOS tablet, the iPad. If you’ve been waiting since then, it’s good to know that today is the day you can stop waiting. TiVo has just announced that they will release their long-awaited iPad app to the iTunes App Store. The TiVo app will allow you to schedule your recordings anywhere you are, and you can do it without interrupting what’s going on-screen, explore cast and crew information, control what’s playing on the TV, easily share about the show you’re watching and much more. The powerful app will be available for free and will work with the TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL box, and of course you’ll need an active paid subscription to the TiVo service.
