Satellite-C655D[CES 2011] Toshiba certainly intends to cover all grounds with their latest range of notebooks, where they want to suit every budget and need, with the Toshiba Satellite C655D targeting those who are on a particularly tight budget and yet do not want to compromise on processing power. Well, the Satellite C655D might just fit this criteria to a T, sporting AMD’s new E-Series Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) with on-die graphics that will deliver a better Windows experience, better video and a greater battery life rating. Fully encased in Toshiba’s durable Trax textured finish in black, the Satellite C655D will feature a rather large 15.6-inch diagonal HD TruBrite display, capable of holding up to 4GB RAM, with a maximum 320GB hard drive inside. Other hardware features include wireless N connectivity, a multi-touch touchpad, an integrated webcam on select models, and a price that can’t be beat – we’re talking about $398.99 upwards for the no-frills version, now how about that?
