BlackBerry OS 6BlackBerry users on Verizon are in for a real treat today. Verizon has just announced that at 8PM EST (5PM PT) today, the official update to BlackBerry OS6 for the Bold 9650 and Curve 3G will be released to their customers. It can be downloaded as an over the air update (go to Options > Advanced Options > Wireless Update) or by connecting the BlackBerry to the PC and heading to www.blackberry.com/updates. BlackBerry OS 6 brings an overhaul to the user interface, enhanced web browsing with the new webkit browser, Universal Search, social feeds and an engaging multimedia experience.
