Viber is a very useful iPhone app for making free calls to friends on the same service using a data connection. Of course, no service is perfect and sometimes you’re limited by the quality of the data connection that you’re using. Now Viber has updated its app, bumping it to version 1.1, and offering you a very useful call quality indicator at the upper right corner, giving you a good idea if you should continue the call or switch back to your regular cellular network. Other improvements include voice quality, Bluetooth, and call connection improvements, amongst others. The updated version is already available in the App Store, so feel free to give it a test drive.
