Xperia X10 to be stuck on Android 2.1

It was previously rumored that Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10 would not be getting updated beyond Android 2.1, and considering that most high-end phones out there are already running Android 2.2 and have an eye on Android 2.3, that was pretty depressing news for X10 owners out there. Now it turns out that the rumors are true, as confirmation has surfaced that the Xperia X10 will officially be stuck on Android 2.1. Of course, with the Xperia Arc already announced, there is something new and cool to look forward to, but we’re fairly sure that X10 owners out there won’t be too happy to hear about this.
