Could Apple be gearing up to offer 3G data connectivity on its future MacBook Air notebooks? Apple may not be well known for conducting customer surveys, but MacBook Air owners have been served a survey that might help Apple define future versions of its ultra slim notebook, with questions covering issues such as 3G, data syncing and more. One thing that folks will notice on the survey is the number of queries that are related to wireless 3G data connectivity, hinting that Apple could possibly be exploring the possibility of integrating cellular radios in future MacBooks. Apple’s MacBook Air is already a very useful piece of hardware for a road warrior and if it were to include an integrated 3G chip, it would definitely be very versatile, though hopefully it won’t increase the price of the hardware too much.
