There will always be room in our hearts for retro stuff, and we’re sure the same applies to many others. After all, take a look at fashion – old stuff comes back in cycles to be the de facto fashion du jour, and in the world of electronics, we suppose that happens to a certain extent. Take gaming for example – here is a modified Atari 2600 which was created by user “Mario”, where it boasts of an integrated joystick and red button, not to mention original carts or a built-in Flashback 2 for games, while a 9-pin port is thrown into the mix for a Player 2 joystick. All the portable gaming action is delivered on a 3.5-inch LCD display. This labor of love is definitely something that won’t see action on retail stores anytime soon. See it in action in the extended post.
