We already know that the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will be headed to Sprint with support for its 4G WiMAX network, but what about other carriers? Folks have discovered a page that previously allowed users to join an early-access program of sorts for the PlayBook on Verizon. The site is apparently owned by a marketing agency that works for both RIM and Verizon, so there is some credibility there. Of course, this is still far from an official confirmation that the PlayBook would be arriving on Verizon, but then again, it would make sense for RIM to make the tablet available on more than one carrier, wouldn’t it? We’ve also got our fingers crossed for LTE support.
