Costco to sell Motorola XOOM tablet as well

It is a given that Motorola’s XOOM tablet will be arriving on Best Buy in slightly more than a week’s time, and our friends over at Android Central (who provided the image above) have received word that said tablet will also hit Costco shelves on the same date. This Android 3.0-powered device does seem to be the perfect fit for Costco, since a slew of Costco locations do boast Verizon kiosks inside. Does this mean you will now sign up to be a Costco member after holding off that decision for the longest time? Apparently, the XOOM demo tablets will be arriving a couple of days earlier, and judging by the price point, we don’t think any store will experience a shortage. Before you make your purchase decision though, be aware that you will need a Verizon service plan upon activation – and that alone will set you back by $20 minimum for the first month.
