It seems that leaks of upcoming products are extremely commonplace these days, so we’re not surprised to see Dell’s 2011 roadmap for its tablet game plan revealed. There seems to be a quartet of new Android tablets that are in the pipeline, with the Dell Gallo leading the bunch. Powered by Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb, this tablet is tipped to arrive in the market sometime in April this year – leaving you with around 2 months to save up. The Dell Sterling will be the next release when it hits the market this Q4, with the Dell Opus One and Dell Silver Oak arriving at CES 2012 perhaps, due to the Q1 2012 release date. Of course, while the roadmap mentions Android 3.0 Honeycomb for the 2012 tablets, we won’t be surprised to see that altered in the long run since Google might introduce new versions of their tablet-optimized operating system along the way.
Of course, Dell hasn’t forgotten about Windows users who will see Windows 7 running on the Dell Rosemount and Peju.
