Did AT&T cheat iDevice users where data is concerned?AT&T has apparently “systematically” overcharged iPhone and iPad owners via their capped data plans, at least that is what was claimed by a lawsuit. This is made possible by inflating the amount of data one downloads, resulting in “phantom traffic.” AT&T, logically speaking, would be fighting the suit vigorously. Said complaint was filed by Patrick Hendricks in federal court in California, where he claims that a “significant portion” of AT&T’s $1.1 billion of wireless revenue gains in the previous quarter was the result of bogus charges and overbilling. Well, there might be a valid concern here, but is a company as large as AT&T actually capable doing such an alleged act? If you are one of the iDevice owners from AT&T, do you feel that this lawsuit holds any water?
