Dropcam gets free Android appThe Dropcam is a consumer video monitoring system which will integrate itself into your Wi-Fi network, where you are able to remotely monitor video feeds from a Internet-connected computer, and if you happen to own an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can also do so from those devices via the Dropcam iPhone app. Nice to know that Android support has been thrown into the mix this time around, and via a free app to boot. Among the noted supported Android-powered devices include the Google Nexus One, Samsung Vibrant (Galaxy S), Motorola Droid, Motorola Droid X, HTC Droid Incredible and HTC EVO 4G among others. Best to contact them if you’re not sure whether your phone fits the bill or not.
