Samsung has sent their Series 9 notebook over to the FCC, which is the right thing to do after it wowed folks who attended CES 2011 last month with their super slim device. Boasting a 13.3” display at 1366 × 768 resolution, it will be powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, a 128GB SSD, Wi-Fi and WiMAX connectivity, and to hear that all of that is crammed into a chassis which tips the scales at less than 3 pounds while measuring 0.64” thin? Too good to be true, no? Unfortunately, the FCC filings failed to show us a closer look at the Series 9 apart from the label photo that you see above, but you can tell that the device’s model number is 900X3A etched on its Wi-Fi label. Touted to roll out this month, hopefully this FCC filing puts it firmly on track.
