Global social check-in giants, Foursquare just became a little more local for international users. Foursquare has just announced that their popular check-in service is now available in 5 new different languages. So if you’ve been struggling to use Foursquare in English all this while, you can now choose to use it in French, Italian, German, Spanish or Japanese (hopefully you understand one of those languages, or I guess you’ll have to continue waiting). With users from over 200 countries globally, the addition of more foreign languages should do well to boost its userbase as well as enhance the experience for some of its current users. Just update your Foursquare app (BlackBerry, iOS and Android) to the latest version and it will automatically change to the default language of your device (if it’s in one of the 5 available languages). If you’re a Foursquare user who will be using one of the new languages, let us know how it works out for you.
