You know when Thomas Alva Edison invented the light bulb, it took him over a 1,000 times before he achieved the feat, having said he found “1,000 ways not to build a light bulb” or something to that effect. Well, perhaps Microsoft has found a way not to build phones, having to close down KIN studio in less than 10 months after introducing the KIN phones to the world. After all, Verizon did send out letters to KIN owners last month, informing them that there are plans to shut down KIN studio on January 31, 2011, and Verizon isn’t one who skimps on their promises since the KIN Studio does not seem to be active online any longer. If you’re a KIN owner, what do you intend to do with your handset?
