Google Social Search updated

Google has just announced that they have made a number of improvements to their Social Search engine. If you perform a search on their website while logged into Google, and you use the search, there will be social search results mixed in together with your regular search results. These social search results will bring you links to Twitter and Flickr if they are relevant to what you are looking for. I.e. if you search for a holiday destination, Google will bring you results from Twitter – stories that people have written about a place, and even photographs of the destination that have been uploaded on Flickr. Interesting? Definitely, but until they are allowed to tap into the vast social resource that is Facebook, you can say that Google won’t find everything yet.
