This Samsung handset is known by many names, where first and foremost it is the Forte, although those who prefer model numbers can call it as the SCH-r910. MetroPCS has officially announced it as part of the Galaxy range, known as the Galaxy Indulge, making it the second LTE phone from the carrier right after the Samsung Craft. What makes the Galaxy Indulge different is this – it is the world’s first commercially available Android phone with 4G LTE that will hit the market later this week. On paper, the specifications you will get is a 1GHz processor, Android 2.2 Froyo, a 3.5-inch HVGA display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS support and a microSD memory card slot. It will retail for $399 which ain’t too shabby if it is unlocked, but should it be tied down to a 2-year contract on subsidy, then it is mighty expensive.
