The folks over at 9to5mac.com have managed to get their hands on an LCD that is rumored to be from the next generation iPad. At this point it’s still unconfirmed whether it is the new display that will be used in the upcoming iPad 2, but it is the same size as the current iPad’s screen, and it seems to be of a better build quality than the current iPad display. The iPad 2 display is thinner and lighter than the one used in the current iPad, plus it has a smaller surrounding frame. Since it is powered off, the speculated Retina Display on the display can’t be confirmed yet. But if this display is the real deal, it provides us with the first ever look at Apple’s next tablet. Head over to 9to5mac.com for more photographs of the screen.
