If there’s one thing the iPad didn’t have when it was released, it was the white version of the device. The next generation iPad, the iPad 2, is set to be unveiled in a couple of days and according to a photograph that recently surfaced online, it looks like we might be seeing a white version of the iOS tablet. The photo doesn’t show a white iPad 2, but a white version of its case instead. From the image you can see the slot for the home button and a tiny one on top of the device for the front facing camera. This isn’t proof that a white iPad 2 exists, but it does give us one more thing to add to the list of speculations we’ve had for the device. Good thing we won’t have to wait too long, as all will be revealed this Wednesday. If the iPad 2 is going to be released in white, hopefully it won’t be plagued by the same issues that caused the white iPhone 4 to be delayed.
