It’s not easy to get a robot to do simple tasks, so even the smallest achievements such as dancing or kicking a ball is often celebrated. Now if you’re the type to cheer progress, the good news is that the Kondo KHR-3HV robot is capable of walking on stilts, not exactly the easiest thing to do, even for humans. As always, it’s a small step forward for robot-kind, though it looks like we’re safe from being taken over by robots anytime soon.
