LG Optimus Black

[MWC] The LG Optimus Black was first shown off at CES earlier this year and will make be shown off at the Mobile World Congress. With already more than 2 million pre-orders all over the world, it’s pretty much safe to say the slim (9.2mm thick) phone is going to be a hit. It packs a 4″ NOVA display that is touted to be energy saving without sacrificing its readability under any lighting condition; it packs a special Gesture UI, WiFi Direct and a 2 megapixel front facing camera, Android 2.2 and a 1,500mAh battery. At the MWC, a range of special-edition LG Optimus Black designs from the Keith Haring Foundation will be on display. Stay tuned for more details on the phone as we bring you reports from MWC over the next few days. In the meantime, you can read our Optimus 2X review to have an idea of what to expect from LG’s Android phones.
