Motorola has announced a few things during Mobile World Congress, and first off Motorola has just released the latest version of the Media Link iTunes sync software, bumping the version to 1.5. Next up the Motoblur interface has also been updated with enhanced location, messaging, music, and gallery features. The Connected Music service offers streaming lyrics and a social feature that allows you to follow the tracks that your friends are listening too. Connected Gallery links your photos and videos with your friends’ online albums from social networking sites such as Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, and Picasa.

Aloga was also integrated into Motoblur as a location-triggered push platform, offering third-party publishers with information about your location, identity and social relationships. This can be used to offer users non-intrusive information about places, events, or bargains for the channels that they select. The updated version of Motoblur is slated to arrive on recently announced devices such as the Cliq 2 and Atrix 4G.
