Mobile World Congress is happening next week – on Valentine’s Day, to be exact, but will we see more tablets announced then compared to CES 2011 which had over a century of such devices being bandied about? Word on the street has it that there will be a new Android tablet from Samsung which will be introduced at MWC 2011, where it will be larger but thinner compared to the current Samsung Galaxy Tab. Sporting a 10.1-inch display, it has been optimized to run on Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, which comes about as no surprise. If this comes true, then expect it to go up against competitors like the LG G-Slate and Motorola XOOM amongst others. According to Pocket-Lint, said Samsung tablet will be powered by a dual-core Qualcomm chip and an 8-megapixel camera.
