No, the title isn’t a typo and if you’re wondering – Gingerbread isn’t officially on the Nexus One yet, how can it get Honeycomb? Well, thanks to the folks over at XDA-developers, they have managed to port over the latest version of Android onto the Nexus One. As usual with early builds – the phone is pretty much unusable at this state. No WiFi, accelerometer, sound, camera, Bluetooth, making calls etc but you get to brag about having Honeycomb on your phone (to your  friends who care about such things). Either way, if you’re interested in helping out with the testing, head over to XDA-developers to get your hands on the ROM. As usual, back up your device before attempting anything and make sure you know what you’re doing.
