The Nimbus Arduino-powered robot has been updated and the latest revision of this robot has been improved slightly. The original robot was designed to avoid walls, using a Sharp IR proximity sensor to detect and avoid obstacles. Now the latest model has a polycarbonate frame along with two additional IR proximity sensors. The small robot looks quite cute and features small RGB status LED lights at the bottom of the bot, allowing it to communicate with its operator easily. The LEDs are able to flash various colors when objects have been discovered or have moved out of sight. Check out a video of this robot in action after the jump.
