Pantech are a company known for budget phones over here, but recently they’ve decided to move on into making high-end Android handsets, and their latest device to be released in Korea looks pretty sweet. Called the Vega S IM-A730S, the phone packs a 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, DDR2 RAM, a 4″ (800 x 480) touchscreen, Android 2.2 (unfortunately), support for HD video playback and HSPA+ capabilities. No word on pricing or if it will make it to our shores, but those of you in Korea will be able to purchase them at the end of the month, presumably with a contract from Sky.
