Qualcomm must be pretty proud of their new blue eyed boy which comes in the form of the recently announced HP TouchPad, where this 10-inch tablet is powered by the Snapdragon APQ8060 processor from Qualcomm. Despite being a low-power ARM-based chip, it does not only deliver a decent battery life in smartphones and tablets, but packs quite a fair bit of fight in it as well. This potent combination of a dual core CPU and an Adreno 220 graphics processor allows it to supports up to a 16-megapixel camera with the ability to record or display 1080p stereoscopic 3D video or 8-megapixel stereoscopic still images without missing a beat, and with an HDMI connection to a compatible TV, it also lets you display 3D video as well. Has all these whet your appetite to place an order for the HP TouchPad when it is available to the masses?
