For those who own a notebook that was manufactured within the past 5 years, chances are pretty good the average user would not have made any good use of the ExpressCard slot. Well, RunCore might have the solution for you with their USB 3.0 ExpressCard, and as the name suggests, this will offer a couple of USB 3.0 ports while delivering 64GB of storage space on an SSD in a single package. This hybrid peripheral has sequential read and write speeds of 110MB/s and 80MB/s, respectively, and we do wonder how much this puppy will cost since there isn’t any word on pricing or availability. Sounds decent enough a purchase if you want to kill two birds with one stone, and after all, why put a perfectly good ExpressCard slot to waste?
