Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 and 4.0

[MWC] Samsung showcased a new device on the show floor that was not announced during the press conference: the Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 featuring a 5-inch TFT display. Basically it looks like a smaller version of the Galaxy Tab with a slimmer chassis; it is intended to be a competitor of the iPod Touch with advanced integration of Skype and Qik, thanks to its embedded VoIP receiver and the front facing camera.

Samsung is not sure whether the 5-inch or the 4-inch version will be released, they need to gather feedback first, so there was no word on pricing and shipping date. Both versions feature a sleek and elegant design, and Android Froyo, upgradable to Gingerbread. Check the video in the full post for a short overview of the Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 5.0, the video below (after the jump) compare the two versions (5.0 and 4.0).
