Activision Wappy Dog works with your NDS

As if we didn’t have enough robot toy dogs running around the place, Activision has announced that they will be releasing the Wappy Dog this year. Developed by Sega, the Wappy Dog is a toy robot dog that keeps you company when you’re bored and want someone to play with. What makes the Wappy Dog special is that it will interact with the Wappy Dog Nintendo DS game that ships with the robot dog. You can even virtually transfer the dog into the NDS and play games with it. Depending on whether you win or lose in the game, the Wappy Dog will react differently. The Wappy Dog can be personalized with its own name and will grow from a pup to an adult (don’t expect the toy to change shape though). No prices have been announced, but expect to see the Wappy Dog in stores this fall.
