Sony Ericsson Xperia Play to arrive on Verizon?

According to a Wirefly, an online phone retailer, the upcoming “PlayStation Phone” now known as the Xperia Play from Sony Ericsson will be sold by Verizon when it arrives in the US. Though there’s nothing stopping Sony Ericsson from selling their phone on all 4 major carriers over here – after all, they did it in the UK. But it looks like Verizon customers could have a difficult time choosing a phone to get. With the iPhone 4, Thunderbolt and now Xperia Play arriving on their network, consumers will have plenty of devices to choose from. Is the lure of a slide out gamepad, along with Android 2.3 and the PlayStation Suite (Sony’s PlayStation Game store for Android) enough to make you want to buy the phone?
