TazTag has revealed that they will be showing off their latest TazPad Android tablet at CeBIT this week. What’s so special about the tablet is that it will be the first NFC-enabled Android tablet to hit the market when it is released. Although we have yet to find much use for NFC, at least in this side of the world, it’s good to know that manufacturers are beginning to future-proof their tablets just in case NFC catches on in a big way. The TazPad packs a 7″ display, full HD support, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and ZigBee (a standard of communication used in low-powered devices). Besides the shipping date (Q2 2011) No other details have been revealed about the tablet at the moment. Can you see tablets being used as a popular NFC device?
