Virgin Mobile USA has some good news for its Samsung Intercept owners – they carrier will be rolling out their Android 2.2 Froyo update sometime early this spring, which could point towards March 25 thereabouts according to whispers on the ground. This could very well be a loose release date, as some of us might actually end up waiting until a week after, but still, the calendar shouldn’t go pass April before the update is released. The 800MHz Intercept will then join the LG Optimus V as Froyo-powered handsets under Virgin Mobile USA’s stable then. A moment of silence for Samsung Captivate owners rocking to AT&T  though…
