There are many folks who are worried about exposing kids to technology too early, since it might be bringing them up the wrong way, but the folks over at VTech don’t have any issues with that as the company has just unveiled the InnoPad, which is a 5-inch touchscreen tablet device aimed at kids aged 4 to 9. It features a tilt-sensor for gaming control, microphone and headphone jack, SD card slot and USB connectivity. All the delicate innards of this device are housed in a “kid-tough” casing that hopefully will allow it to survive the large amounts of torture that young kids tend to dish out. This tablet will mainly rely on learning cartridges to provide content, but there is also support for digital downloads for folks who prefer to sync it with a computer. The InnoPad will be shipping this fall for $79.99 and each title is priced at $24.99.
