Do you like strangely shaped iPod speakers? Well, the WALdok might be something that catches your attention. This small device is pretty simple to use, as all you have to do is plug it into the wall socket and pop your iPod nano into it. It doesn’t look very much like a speaker, so it should easily blend into your modern home. The person behind this speaker is currently seeking funding for it and if you pledge $79 you’ll be able to get one of the docks if it’s turned into a product. The project description claims:

“Design wise, we wanted to develop a product that was: portable and small in form-factor, convenient yet out of the way (no cords!), while not compromising on sound quality. Early form inspirations were wall plug-in nightlights and scented oil warming devices. Another important consideration was to complement both the minimalist rectilinear design of the iPod nano, while addressing the round form-factor of the large speaker driver.”
