
Do you remember the WeTab? It was amusingly called an “iPad-killer” by some, but it basically killed itself with its terrible custom-built user-interface. Intel was showing that same hardware running on Meego, an open-source Linux-based OS that intel and Nokia support (yes, Nokia still officially support Meego, even after the Nokia WP7 announcement). At the moment, I consider this to be for developers as you need to install Meego yourself if you want to use it (definitely not for everyone), but at least it works and turns the device into a good-looking Meego tablet. Any takers?
