Uh oh – bad news for Microsoft. After releasing the Windows Phone 7 update this week, some folks have ended up with an unusable phone and no way of fixing them save a factory reset or returning them to the store. Although the problem is said to only affect a limited number of people, it makes you wonder whether Microsoft’s decision of pushing out the updates themselves was a good decision to make. Hopefully this issue gets resolved sooner than later and won’t happen again in the future. On the bright side, this was only a minor update and not the long-awaited copy paste update for the phone – Microsoft could learn from this mistakes to make the next update a better experience for those who got their devices bricked this time around. How many of you have had problems updating your Windows Phone 7 device?
