Folks looking forward to Asus’ 12″ Windows 7 tablet, the Eee Slate EP121 that was shown off at the CES 2011 can now pre-order the tablet in the UK. The tablet was supposed to be out in the first quarter of the year, but its new release date an Amazon UK’s site UK gives it an April 10 release date – the beginning of Q2 this year. That being said, the tablet isn’t any cheaper and will retail for $1,630 (£999) for the 64GB version, which costs about $1,099 in the US but it has been listed as out of stock on Amazon’s site for some time now. The EP121 packs a dual-core Intel i5 processor, with 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, HDMI output, stylus-input support and a flash card reader.
