Asus has big plans for the tablet landscape in the near future, hoping to roll out at least a quartet of new Android tablets, and will not stop there but look forward with an Android tablet that has a 3D display (can we watch Wimbledon 2011 on that?), apart from tablets with Quad Core CPUs, MeeGo Linux and additional Android netbooks – apart from Windows Phone 7-powered devices, of course. Dual core processors right now aren’t really capable of handling smooth HD processing, so doiubling the amount of cores there might just help things out a bit. Of course, the push into the tablet market does not mean Asus is abandoning their notebook and netbook ranges, so rest easy. Do you think Asus will prove to be a strong competitor amongst the slew of tablets out there, what with the iPad 2 as well?
