Battlefield 3 footage released online

Great news for folks all Battlefield fans – Digital Illusions has released some actual in-game footage of their upcoming multiplayer first person shooter, Battlefield 3, and it looks gorgeous. The highly-anticipated sequel to Battlefield 2 looks like a worthy successor from the short clip alone. Sure, it’s no Crysis 2, but from what we can see so far, it’s a step up from previous Battlefield games and clearly shows the Frostbite engine hard at work. While graphics alone are no way to judge a game, at least we know the Battlefield 3 won’t be lacking in that department.
