Best Buy did announce their intention to develop Insignia TVs which came with TiVo software some time back, and it is nice to know that the retailer is finally testing upcoming products. There was a post on the unofficial TiVo Community Forum that pointed towards a non-DVR TiVo device (this is interesting!) which recently surfaced in access logs for a third-party game that plays nice with networked TiVo systems. With this, users can access a range of connected services which are already currently available on TiVo’s set-top boxes. There is no word on a release date or pricing for TiVo-equipped TVs from Best Buy, but we’re guessing that this is just a matter of time before it is resolved. After all, good things do come to those who wait, right?
