CeBIT is the place to be if you are interested in sprucing up the performance of your computing device – specifically notebooks, with the Corsair Force Series GT SSDs. These new SandForce-based high-performance SSD range is capable of supporting a 6Gb/s SATA 3 connection, and for the layperson, that would mean incredible performance that equals to up to 60K Random Write IOPS, read speeds of up to 520 MB/s, and writes speeds of up to 500 MB/s – all theoretically, of course. Regular users will probably give this a miss since this new SSD range was specially designed for enthusiasts who want nothing but the fastest performance available at the moment. There is no word on pricing just yet though, but we can expect to see the Force Series GT SSDs arrive in the worldwide market sometime in early Q2 this year in a variety of capacities.
