I wouldn’t have expected netbooks to last this long, especially when you have a barrage of tablet devices coming your way. Hercules hasn’t thrown in the towel yet though, having the guts to roll out a couple of 10-inch eCAFÉ netbooks in the form of the eCAFÉ Slim HD and the eCAFÉ EX HD. The former is the slimmest and lightest model in its category, while the latter will offer what they tout to be the best battery life at the moment. The Slim HD will sport a trio of USB ports, an Ethernet port, headphone and microphone connectors and a card reader, while the EX HD model comes with 13 hours of juice in real life conditions, HDMI output and multimedia touch controls. Expect the eCAFÉ Slim HD and eCAFÉ EX HD to arrive next month for $229 and $269, respectively. Viva la netbooks?
