HTC Droid Eris update

The HTC Droid Eris might have been long, gone, and forgotten by a lot of people, but it looks like Verizon hasn’t forgotten it. They have just released an over the air update for the phone and no, it doesn’t update the phone to Android 2.2. But it does provide a few bug fixes and adds some new features to the Android phone. The update includes: improved Bluetooth connection performance with Mercedes-Benz E350 automobiles (Benz owners use the Eris?), New Twitter authentication, Visual Voice Mail, MMS improvements and more. Droid Eris owners, if you haven’t received the update yet, just wait until you get the notification to start it. Let us know how the update goes for you.
