HTC’s debut Android tablet, the HTC Flyer was introduced to the world during this year’s Mobile World Congress and wasn’t given a release date then. But now, according to online retailer, Clove Technology, we can expect the tablet to arrive sometime in mid-April. The 7″ Android tablet has been put up for pre-order on their website for about $968 (£600). Judging from the price alone, it doesn’t look too good for HTC. Fortunately, Clove Technology has mentioned that the prices haven’t been finalized yet and are bound to change. After all it only has a 7″ screen, a single-core processor, it doesn’t run the latest version of Android (Honeycomb) and its selling factors, the OnLive cloud-gaming service and HTC Scribe writing technology don’t feel like they’re worth that much money.
