In app purchases for Android arriving next week?

According to some reports online, an in-app purchasing system for Android apps might be rolled out next week. On the Android Developers Blog, Google announced that starting today, testing of the Android in-app purchasing system has begun. If things go as planned, and there are no hiccups, beginning next week, we’ll be seeing apps on the Android Market with in-app purchases as an option. If you’re an app developer for Android, you can start testing the function now. Finally – a way to charge folks who want a shortcut to obtain that golden sword of truth in your RPG! As for non-developers – in-app purchases could signify more convenient ways to upgrade your apps from light  to pro in the future and convenience is never a bad thing.
