Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) Release Candidate has already hit a whopping 2 million downloads, and here we have word that the full and final release is slated for the end of this month – if all goes well, of course. It would be interesting to see just how well IE9 will do, and will it help Microsoft claw back some of their eroded market share over the years? Of course, that is just a rumor at press time, so it will still take nothing less than an official statement from Microsoft themselves for things to become concrete. There is also the possibility that the South By South West conference in Texas might be the venue where IE9 is announced, so just keep your fingers crossed for the moment and wait to see how things pan out.
