If you love fusing technology into fashion, then you would do well to sit down with Katie Dektar and learn from her how you’re going to make this LED matrix quilt. This is definitely not the kind of quilt that grandma used to invest hours of her life in when you were younger, since all the rows of the matrix were sewed by machine, with the conductive thread in the bobbin in tow. All of them will come together in the corner, where they will meet and hook up with the Lilypad Arduino. All 64 LEDs were sewed by hand though, so that will take some time, although the use of an embroidery hoop is highly recommended.
