Kinect working on the PlayStation 3

If there’s one thing we thought the Microsoft Kinect would not be able to do was to work with the Sony PlayStation 3. Well a Kinect modder who goes by the name of Shantanu Goel has just proven us wrong. He has managed to get the motion control sensor designed for the Xbox 360 working on the PlayStation 3. It is currently not very usable in its current pre-alpha state, as evident in the video after the break, but the modder has released the source code online for other people to try it out and possibly help him to improve it.
