Apple devices seem to be more rumor prone than those from any other manufacturer, simply because what they roll out in recent years are pretty high profile and extremely desirable, to say the least. Hence, it is not surprising to see more rumors surround an NFC-equipped iPhone (which began from summer 2010), especially after Apple placed NFC expert Benjamin Vigier on their payroll as its Commerce Product Manager. More news that might just confirm such a handset – The New York Times mentioned that Apple will throw in NFC chips from Qualcomm, although there was no specific mention of whether this would include Appleās next iPhone. Do you think that this rumor holds any water or not?
